Usability Testing Guerilla Techniques

I’m really looking forward to a session of the User interface13 Conference October 13th in Cambridge by Dana Chisnell – Usability Testing Guerrilla Techniques: Collecting User Data on a Shoestring.

I’ve been working on an interesting “e-government” project for a couple of months now as a user experience designer. Adam Greenfield: The city is here for you to use

The two presentations during the CHI conference “The web and beyond -> Mobility” that were most inspiring to me were Adam Green’s keynote: “The city is here for you to use” and Jyri Engeström’s keynote “Nodal Points”. The reason for this may be that in a previous life I studied Human Geography during which time I read a lot about how space was organized and which economic and physical laws determined its organization. But also about how space was perceived. I was surprised to find how relevant these issues have become to interaction design. Read More »
